As part of our commitment to ensuring that our guests explore the world in comfort and style, 2012 will see an investment of $250 million (USD) that was put towards the building of 6 new and innovative ships, finally come to fruition.
The Viking Freya, Viking Odin, Viking Njord, Viking Idun, Viking Embla and Viking Aegir all offer a unique river cruising experience and are built with our guests’ comfort and sense of freedom in mind.
Each new ship has innovative features such as Explorer Suites offering panoramic 270 degree views, Staterooms that maximise room space and offer full verandas or French balconies and the new Aquavit Terrace featuring floor to ceiling glass doors, that can be moved aside to create a sense of exhilaration and that truly allows us to bring the outdoors in.
