The first modules released give an overview of the association, its membership, interests
and activities. New modules will follow over the coming months, including guidelines for
contractors and other operational staff, and cementing ETOA’s position as a source of
knowledge and guidelines for the travel industry.
To celebrate the launch ETOA is giving away a bottle of champagne one lucky tour operator
employee who completes the course during the launch period.
Adam Buckmaster
, Head of Online Strategy for ETOA said “We are delighted to launch our
first online training course as part of our partnership with Online Travel Training. This will
introduce ETOA to a new audience and at the same time gives our members the chance to
consolidate their own knowledge of their association. This is one of several enhancements to
our online offering, with our new look website launching later this year and a new
registration system for our events.”
European Tour Operators Association (ETOA) combines the lobbying power of leading and specialist
tour and online operators, representing in excess of 5 billion Euros of spending by their buyers and
their clients. ETOA has firmly established itself as the widely respected, independent and leading
voice for tour operators working in Europe with a growing membership of 500 leading
tourism companies in over 30 countries.
ETOA runs industry leading B2B tourism events, supporting the interests of operators, their suppliers
and destinations across Europe.
