Inghams Ski - Introduction to skiing

  Kitzbuhel, Austria March 2010

Charlotte, Matt and Carol hosted a VIP ski trip to the recently renovated 5 star luxury Schloss Lebenberg Hotel.
The fashionable resort of Kitzbuhel is famous for the Men's Downhill Race on the Hahnenkamm which takes place in January-our skiers took things a little easier on the Hahnenkamm.

  Grindelwald, Switzerland March 2010

Alison, Katherine and Neil accompanied a group of 20 Co-operative Travel staff to Grindelwald in Switzerland. The agents were impressed with the flights with Swiss for their comfort and punctuality, something which was repeated on the train transfer from Zurich to Grindelwald courtesy of Swiss Travel system. In addition to the fantastic weather, scenery and skiing the agents also got to experience " First Flyer" where they flew down the mountain on a zip wire at speeds of up to 84kms!

  Banff, Canada December 2009

Alison and Charlotte hosted a group of 21 agents on a ski educational to Banff, Canada catching some fantastic early snow. Dramatic scenery, fantastic Canadian hospitality, snowmobiling and "Champagne powder" skiing were just some of the highlights. The group was a mix of some experienced advanced skiers and snowboarders as well as some first time "ski virgins", but most of them have now got the skiing bug!

  Levi, Lapland December 2009

Jonathan and Vicky hosted a group of 10 agents on a visit to Lapland. The flight over was full of Christmas spirit with the cabin crew wearing santa hats and tinsel. Agents were treated to ski lessons, reindeer and husky dog safaris, snowmobiling and a visit to Santa's workshop where they got to meet the man himself as well as making gingerbread cookies. Everyone came back loving the adventurous and fun filled Inghams Lapland product.

  Agent events in September 2009.

Chill Factor-Manchester- ski training for CTTG staff together with overseas suppliers from Tirol Marketing-Sandra Kremer, Skithebig3-Jason Connell and Jeff O'Leary- Banff Lodging company as well as Inghams.

Agents came along to try skiing for themselves on the slopes at the Chill Factor and then attended resort training sessions with Inghams and their guests. 28th of September 2009.

   Tamworth Snowdome- ski training for CTTG staff together with overseas suppliers from Vail Resorts-Roger Ainger, Flybe-Paul Willoughby and Rachel Briody from Birmingham International airport, Skithebig3-Jason Connell and Jeff O'Leary-Banff Lodging Company as well as Inghams. 29th of September 2009.

As well as trying skiing, agents also got to try tubing at the slope-hence the helmets! September 2009

  Hemel's Snow Centre November 2009


Inghams co-hosted a training event with Tirol Marketing at the Snow Centre in Hemel. The ski slope is sponsored by Otztal the region in Austria which includes Obergurgl, one of Inghams most requested resorts.
The event was attended by Lucas Scheiber and Michael Anfang from the Hotel Edelweiss & Gugrl as well as Holger Gassler from Tirol Marketing.
