The Avalon Waterways training programme is split into five different modules, covering background information; a general overview on Avalon Waterways and its unique selling points, there is information on our fleet, staterooms and the amenities we have to offer. There is a module covering the rivers we cruise down, the destinations we visit and our itineraries. One of the modules will be refering on the selling and booking techniques that are invaluable when selling an Avalon Waterways cruise.
By completing this training programme you will have achieved the following objectives: |
• To understand the key differences between river and ocean cruising, and the appeal and enjoyment factor of why people river cruise • To be able to sell the Avalon product with confidence, remembering Avalon’s pledge of delivering impeccable customer service • To have a knowledgeable overview of Avalon’s fleet, amenities, staterooms, destinations and itineraries • To be confident with Avalon’s booking information and all the extras that we offer such as free home pick up, extra nights, transfers, etc |
